What's in a name?

Having grown up on the Internet, there is one thing I have always felt it was supposed to enable us to do, and that's to build a community without the traditional "Wall Street" barriers, like a ton of money. A place where ideas are more important than financial capitol.  Today, when I look out at the business landscape there is utter confusion. Traditional advertising is saturated and only somewhat effective, on-line advertising is also hit and miss since there exists no single, easy to identify place to gather, as a business. My original internet space was http://www.shopakrononline.com and that has happily become a great partnership with http://www.shopakron.com . There is one thing you'll notice about the internet, there is no platform that small businesses can cost effectively use to improve it's Internet Marketing, increase its internet visibility and contribute to the local economy at the same time.  Now that has all changed with the introduction of http://www.shopakron.com !

Cities are our destinations!

And they always have been! Why we've been denied a locally focused set of sites that people can actually shop in is why we love ShopAkron.com! It's finally here!
